Our Purpose and Mission

The Chico Area Interfaith Council exists to strengthen bonds among faith groups in service to the community. We provide educational programs to foster public understanding and tolerance, create opportunities for building relationships across lines of difference, and facilitate cooperation on community efforts that reflect the shared values of our diverse traditions.


  • Our meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 11:30-1:00 PM.  The business meeting is from 11:30-12 and a more interactive and enriching meeting starts at noon.  All are welcome to attend either or both sessions.


    Membership is open to local faith communities and individuals.
    Non-voting membership is open to community service groups whose aims are in accord with the purposes of CAIC.
    Visitors are always welcome.
